A Swiftly Tilting Planet by Madeleine L'Engle

3.0

I love the idea of mixing physics, the Bible, sci fi, and fantasy but I find L'Engle's books thin and sometimes frustrating in what she skips over, leaves out, or makes a bit too pretty (baby unicorns in glittering starlight, etc.). Still, she makes me cry at the end of every one, bringing us back to love, humility, and grace. Dang it all.
