I think this is my least favorite of Daisy Goodwin's books. I started watching the show Victoria on PBS, which led me to read the book (on audiobook). I loved that one and so picked up her other books. I believe Victoria is her best novel to date.
This one didn't grab me, and I think I just didn't enjoy the plot or storyline. I wasn't sure who I was supposed to want to get together with Middleton. And honestly I didn't like him that much, so didn't much care either way. I realize its historical fiction, so you can't change some of the more major facts, but I just didn't find the end to be a fitting resolution for the story Goodwin chose to tell.
