Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

DNF for me, about 20% in, Chapter 9 ... I can't remember where this was recommended to me (random FB group) and I think the simple cover caught me off guard. If I'd seen the main cover, boddice ripper obvious (although, if I'd really stopped to read the blurb) I might have realized more what it was, and that it wasn't for me. Once upon a time perhaps I liked, even sought out these "romances"/smut ... but at some point it became cringy and uncomfortable, not something I enjoy. There was so much sex in just this first portion, I can't even imagine what the rest is filled with. The story wasn't awful, but not compelling enough for me to continue ...
