This book was fast paced and easy to read. I liked the ‘moments in time’ layout, but I wish I had some flashbacks to the past to get the previous connection between Dax and Abby. I did also find it annoying that Abby was the one to lose her job because of the relationship and I couldn’t get behind Silas as a side character (he’s a turd). I did like the positive spin at the end for Abby, but I really do not like when women are impacted because of the actions of both parties involved. 

Besides my complaints, I did like the relationship between Dax and Abby and found this a read I did like.
