What a Time to Be Alone: The Slumflower's Guide to Why You Are Already Enough by Chidera Eggerue

3.0

Aesthetically, this book is set up really well. It is very easy to follow and it was loaded with easy to follow sections. I thought she did a good job introducing the 3 sections in the beginning, but the transitions weren't as pronounced in the actual book. It was repetitive at times and some of the things she was saying, I had already read them on twitter so they didn't surprise me. She included small sections that discussed race and white privilege and I was surprised and pleased by this, but even those weren't as fledged out as they could have been. It was very personal, clever, and sincere.
