My Best Friend's Exorcism 5 ✨️
There's a very strong chance this is going to be in my top favourites at the end of the year.
It felt a little bit YA in writing style at points but it doesn't hold back from the body horror (I'll be avoiding vanilla milkshakes for a while....). I adored the friendship between Gretchen and Abby and of course the 80s nostalgia. It's the kind of book that could have easily been too corny and campy but it got the balance right.
I recommend listening to the playlist of chapter titles on Spotify 🎵
A great book if you're looking for:
Summerween recs
80s nostalgia
Something to keep you going till Stranger Things season 5
