This one might grow on me, if I take the time to learn more about it. There are parts that resonate with me. And Ishiguro's writing is always quite beautiful. But this one does not occupy the place in my heart that [b:The Remains of the Day|28921|The Remains of the Day|Kazuo Ishiguro|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1327128714l/28921._SY75_.jpg|3333111] and, especially, [b:Never Let Me Go|6572790|Never Let Me Go|Kazuo Ishiguro|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1372716017l/6572790._SY75_.jpg|1499998] occupy. If you're new to Ishiguro, I'd recommend either of those over this one. Or try his stories. I found [b:Nocturnes: Five Stories of Music and Nightfall|4772110|Nocturnes Five Stories of Music and Nightfall|Kazuo Ishiguro|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320430211l/4772110._SY75_.jpg|4836931] quite good.
