Return of the Crimson Guard by Ian C. Esslemont
3.0
adventurous challenging mysterious slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Was interesting in the beginning, got a little meh in between. Okay, very boring. And probably too long. Was very easy to put down, I feel. Plot and pace picked up towards the end with threads coming together to... er... form a... rope? Basically, things come together, literally, and some questions are answered. I still have some more, but I somehow am not really too curious about them.
