I found myself really liking and really disliking Phoebe throughout the book. The self-sabotage was so irritating at times, but the cute golden retriever boy made up for it. Overall, cute story. Almost felt more like contemporary fiction with a splash of romance - which was great because I’m not much of a romance reader.
