The Paris Daughter by Kristin Harmel

4.0

Although the writing was a little predictable and some of the characters’ behaviors singular and somewhat unrealistic, I felt the story and twists made it a worthwhile read.

The author’s note at the end which connected the horrors of civilians in Paris during WWII with what’s going on in Ukraine just reminds us of the sad circularity of history but also of human resilience.
