This book took some getting used to with the unusual media format that strays from the regular prose I am used to. However, I quickly became hooked and could not put it down!
The plot is so intense and gripping. There is a romantic sub-plot, but it does not overshadow the dystopian/sci-fi mystery, working instead to compliment it and create an unexpected depth to the developing relationship between human and AI.
Whilst the use of file reports, email and text conversations, interviews and written 'video' recordings may be initially seem off-putting, I highly recommend reading this book, as this method actually makes it a very quick and easy read, once you get used to it.
