Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy

I wanted to like this book more than I actually did. Since I loved Dumplin', I expected this to have similar elements--and it did--but the female character did not resonate with me. She is intentionally less than likable, so me not liking her was expected. But not to the extent that I wanted to skip her chapters. The premise of what happens when you burn all your bridges because you have terminal cancer and then, suddenly, you get better is really a great idea for a book. Really, it's fantastic. Unfortunately, the dislike of the character was too much.
