The Honjin Murders by Seishi Yokomizo
mysterious
3.0
Some notes:
I don’t read nearly as much translated work as I should - this was a nice look into a different culture.
While there was nothing wrong with the narration of the audiobook, I do wish I’d read a physical version of this book. All the characters names are Japanese (duh) and because I’m not used to that, I think I would’ve benefited from seeing the names in print. I sense the physical book had a character list at the beginning, and I think it would’ve helped me to have something like that to flip back to. Yes, I could’ve Googled, but having this already in the book for me would’ve been more convenient.
