Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron by Julia Quinn

3.0

This graphic novel is unlike any other JQ novel I’ve read so far - it’s hilarious, ridiculous, and over-the-top, which was to be expected. Having previously read the Bridgerton-series (It’s in His Kiss) and the Bevelstokes-series, I already knew about Priscilla Butterworth and her.. rather interesting adventures. Reading it in its entirety was fun and at the same time bittersweet (the illustrator was JQ’s sister who was killed in a car accident along with their father and ultimately her husband).

One thing is for sure: I’ll never look at pigeons the same as I used to, ever again! :-)
