I didn't enjoy this as much as Anne Of Green Gables which I love.
I liked Emily as a character, she had a lot of sass and I loved her comebacks.
However I didn't like the side characters very much, apart from Teddy, Ilse and Jimmy. Everyone else had little to redeem themselves. There was also far too much animal cruelty and cat death. 😬
Theres also a very problematic grooming storyline thats very uncomfortable.
