Emily Cooper is finding that her life is coming together. Her commitment at work is paying off, and she's moved on from her cheating ex. The final piece of the puzzle is her team winning the pitch to run the advertising for the auto account that could land her a promotion she desperately needs. All she has to do is have no distractions until after the pitch, but one last night out won't hurt or derail her. That is until she meets Matt. Matt just moved back to NYC and A whirlwind night turns into a weekend refreshing her to focus on work until Matt walks through the door as the leader of the other team that will be pitching. Little does she know that he needs this win too.

I always admire a strong determined FMC, and Emily is no exception. Her commitment not only to her work but supporting the people she loves are some of the few reasons that you can't help but root for her. Matt is what the best book boyfriends are made of combining the right mix of cheesy lines to make you laugh, sultriness to make your toes curl, and the sweetest thoughts to make you blush. But he's not perfect, which makes me love him even more. Put them together with flirty banter/texting and a ride-or-die friend group, you have a romance book you won't want to put down.
