The Art of Scandal by Regina Black

5.0

This book starts off with a scene so good that I can't get it out of my head. Black paints her characters VIVIDLY, and I truly delighted in all of their good and bad behavior. When Rachel Abbott receives a dick pick from her husband, her alarm bells immediately go off--they haven't had sex in over a year, and they're in the middle of a party. She quickly realizes that the text was not intended for her, and her husband confirms the affair he's been having and begs her to stay with him for the duration of his political campaign. Rachel agrees if he lets her keep the house and one million dollars, but keeping up appearances is harder than it sounds! Rachel then meets Nathan, a young artist who represents the life of passion and kindness that she's been missing. Soon, everyone's secrets become very difficult to keep, and Rachel has to choose what's most important to her. This book is SEXY, so fun, and just an incredible read!
