Okay, I was initially a little put off when I found out that Brenda and Jay's ex-wife seemed to be pretty good friends. That just seemed a little too close for comfort for me. But I kept reading and got over it, lol.
I liked Brenda, but I connected more with Jay's character than I did with hers. It feels like we got more info on Jay and his history than we dd with hers. I was curious about Brenda's mom and sister and wish we could have seen more with them. Nick was really a trip, and I was surprised at the turn of events with him and Jay. And with Jay and his ex-wife.
