2 stars for the beautiful prose and the general creativity of it. But can we stop making the female main character hate every other woman? I mean I get it‘s based on greek mythology and we know how women are most often portrayed there but if you do a whole retelling like this maybe… don‘t? The Christianity rants kind of got old for me after a while, I skimmed past them at some point. Especially the last part I struggled through.
I think maybe I should have just read the Metamorphoses.
