Underlord by Will Wight

4.0

The Way is the progression along a Path to body, mind, and soul. The first five books focused mostly on the physical and soul (madra) aspects, but in this one we find out that you will need insight into yourself in order to advance to Underlord level.

While the reader have known both Lindon's and Yerin's are somewhat known to the reader, but the actual wording was pretty good.

We also get Mercy's background and it is certainly satisfactory.

Eithan is still a cool character. Fun, well-written, and always in character.

This was a good book, in line with the others. The ending was surprising
Spoilerin the way that they were split into different teams. Charity's vengeance to Lindon for leaving Harmony to die was taking him into a Akora team. That they won their battles were not surprising. They are all ridiculously overpowered for their level at this point. Especially Lindon with soulsmith potential on top. But this is the way it's been going from book 1 so it's to be expected.
