So I’ll fully admit: I grabbed this book’s sequel first off my library shelf because I loved the cover and took it home...before I realized what I had done! So of course I immediately went back and grabbed the first one to start the series off right.
This was an awesome happenstance grab. It ticks all the boxes. Witches? Check. Magic? Check. Queer romance with awesome bixseual representation without shaming? Check. Characters real and well written enough to make me actively cry? Check and check again. There’s also a really great nod to prejudice and maligning others on the sake of rumor/sins of the fathers type attitude that was well done.
This was a really great read and I’m absolutely thrilled that I found it. The sequel is on my immediate next read list!
