Circe is a very beautifully written book. A reminder that you can always stand up and rise to be greater and better even if others don’t believe you can. People in Circe’s life, especially men, always defied her and thought she was less then, but in the end proved them all wrong as she learned from her mistakes and grew as a person. Became a whole independent woman, learned how to live on her own and never asked for anyone’s assistance in the process. You can tell she became more mature and confident by the way she stood up for herself in front of her father and other gods. She experienced it all: bullying, heartbreak, sexual assault, loneliness, manipulation… She’s truly an inspiration.
