Springfield Confidential: Jokes, Secrets, and Outright Lies from a Lifetime Writing for the Simpsons by Mathew Klickstein, Mike Reiss

3.0

"Springfield Confidential" by Mike Reiss is an engaging audiobook which provides insights into the behind-the-scenes workings of "The Simpsons" and other projects he has worked on. Reiss shares anecdotes and stories about his experiences and the ways in which he runs his writer's room, shedding light on how the TV show is written. Despite the common perception that writing for TV is boring, Reiss manages to make it interesting, sometimes. Although I am not a huge fan of "The Simpsons" or Mike Reiss, I purchased this audiobook during a sale hoping to listen to it on my car rides. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
