4:50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie
3.0

Agatha Christie is my absolute favorite crime novel author but this was my first time reading a Miss Marple story and I didn't enjoy it as much as the Hercule Poirot one, probably because she was at the back of the scene and sending Lucy at her place
There were too many names for me to keep track (father, brothers, sisters, nephews, uncles) so I just kept reading and eventually waited until some died to make a natural selection sothat I only needed to remember a few of them
I also wish we didn't have to wait until 3 pages before the end to know who the killer was so we could have just a bit more explanation but other than that it was great and I had never even suspected who the culprit was, which I enjoyed haha!
Also for some reason, it took me a surprisingly long time to finish this book, probably because it's not my usual genre... I seem to have this with shorter novels (it took me a month to finish "animal farm" even though it's barely 100 pages long...) so I wouldn't consider it a criteria in how much I liked the book
Overall, not my favorite book but happy I read it because it's a good crime novel with an eventful and entertaining ending!
