Liz Tomforde didn't disapoint with Rio's story! I had high expectations for his book as this hero was so sweet and endearing in the previous novels and couldn't wait to see him fall in love. I'm glad to say that I absolutely loved Rewind It Back! Rio's second chance romance with Hallie was just so beautiful!

Rio DeLuca is such a golden retriever hero. So loyal and caring with his loved ones. I cherished his relationship with his friends so much, but to finally see him being the one in love was even more stunning. The way he loves Hallie and never truly stopped loving her is dreamy. Despite the hurt from their past, it's clear from their reunion that their old feelings are still present. I really liked the slow revive of their love story. The chapters set in the past give us just the right details to better understand their tangible connection. As much as Rio's a magnetic character, Hallie is also interesting. She's driven and focused, the perfect match to our favorite hockey player.

Rewind It Back concluded in such a magical way the Windy City Series! I loved revisiting all this great cast through this novel. They are the true meening of found family. I'll certainly miss all these incredible protagonists, but it seems it's not exactly the end with a future companion book releasing next year about Monty. I'm surely excited for what's next from this author. She's truly a great discovery for me this year!
