Are the Peabody-Emersons my favorite fictional family (even over the Weasleys?)?? I think so, since this is by FAR the furthest I have ever read in a series and the most pages I have spent with any set of characters.
This particular adventure is one of my favorites, as a long term adversary and villain re-eaters the scene playing a larger role and perhaps even heading toward a redemption arc?!? I did guess the true villain in this one before he was revealed, but was still surprised (as always) by how it all played out. I love these books.
