I read the book because I watched the anime and it’s never going to get a season two and I want to know how it continues.
It’s a funny read. I like Sora and shiro, who are fun to root for in spite of their many flaws. They are not nice, but also never malicious, and the fun of this series is not in the suspense of if they will win (they will) but seeing how they win.
Now it is a harem-builder Isekai, and a lot of the tropes tied in with that type of series are here. If you don’t like stories with all of the convoluted situations to allow our male protagonist to see all the ladies half-dressed this is not a good book for you.
I for one will be continuing with the series.
