3.5 stars. It seems none of Megan Abbott’s books will live up to her first novel that I read, Dare Me, however her writing is STILL as superb as ever. She just has such a unique voice when creating fucked up/dark female characters. I really enjoyed the story when it first started out but idk it didnt go the way I was planning i guess? I wanted more from Diane’s character. And also Kit’s. The ending did take me by surprise and cause a lot of emotions however.
