The Last True Templar by @boydmorrisonwriter and @bethmorrisonwriter is a triumph in historical adventure fiction! The second book of The Lawless Land series picks up immediately after the first one ends and has our heroes, Gerard and Willa becoming embroiled in a quest for the lost treasure of the Knights Templar.
This novel feels like it could have been an historical prequel to the National Treasure movies. Wonderful pacing, witty characters, history lessons that grab your attention, and a true sense of adventure make this book (and series) a must read.
This was pure entertainment at its best that left me wishing the next book was already out. If you are looking for an easy, engaging read that is suitable for young adults and adults alike, jump into this series. You won’t regret it!
