The bonus stories basically left such a sour taste in my mouth that I ended up suddenly so distanced from the story entirely. Not sure I want to read more from MXTX if she's a fan of con/non-con. Like, seriously no shade to anyone who enjoys that, I recognize that this is 100% a taste thing, but I really liked this book and then after too much of that smut I was totally uninterested in reading anything more about these two ever again. It took me several months just to write this review.

I liked this series a lot. I didn't like the bonus stories. I'm sad that everyone says they're required reading because I think if I'd read more people saying (WITHOUT SHAMING) that they aren't required, I might feel a little less bad about not liking them. And not wanting to read more.

What a fun story this was. I really liked it.
