I will actually start with my one complaint: I wish it was even longer because this was such a joy to read! I could read several hundred pages of this story and these characters because I was entranced.

I adored the writing style. It immediately sucked me in, which doesn't happen often with me, and I love when it happens! This novella grabbed me, it got me good, it held me like a warm hug that I didn't know I needed.

LGBTQ+ characters shine in this incredibly cozy read and I loved it. I loved Florian and their honesty, and Kells and her sensibility, and their fun, charming, and flirty relationship. I LOVED Florian's journey of self discovery, which all started by, well, running away.. literally!

I loved the magic and the pupper and the bees and artist's life intertwining with garden life. (Was this written for me, because this was right up my alley.)

Thank you to the author for the ARC. This was a treat!
