What a fabulous book to read on Martin Luther King Day. Stella Mills lives in Bumblebee, North Carolina--a city still completely segregated and pulsing with prejudices. Stella and her family stand up for their rights, and personally feel the hatred from the KKK. Stella's voice is full of spunk and child-like reasoning, that shows just how unnecessary hate between races is.
