this was a pretty decent third book. i have to say, despite my enjoyment of the plot, the second book was definitely my favorite. i liked how jackson dealt with pip’s trauma from the events of the second book and how it affects her behavior and changes her fundamentally while she’s still trying to grasp at the person she used to be. that was definitely my favorite aspect of this book. it was pretty easy for me to sus out who the DT killer was, so the second book once again prevails in terms of good mystery to me. this book just felt really chaotic and while i had a good time reading it it just felt like a lot of poorly controlled chaos at times, like to the point where i was ready for it to be over. pip had a crazy journey, but do i think she deserved that ending? i haven’t decided yet.
