The Girl on the Train
by Paula Hawkins
Sometimes it goes to a 3.5/5 to be honest.
Reading this kind of genre is not right up my alley, but I got this book on a Christmas and my family, who knows I'm a savy reader, always pick books for me with thought and care, so I always give them a chance.
I was really surprised by it. The plot twist wasn't something I thought about or saw until it was too late, so I enjoyed it a lot. Sometimes it felt too slow, with the unreliable narrator, but overall I liked it for my first time with this type of fiction. If I get another book by this author, I'll probably give it a shot too.
