It felt like the story relied a little too heavily on the miscommunication trope. But it was so easy to root for Marianne and Connell the whole time. Just an easy read despite some difficult topics. I think the author has an ability to write about mundane things in a poetic way.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, and Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Mental illness, Sexual content, and Suicide
Minor: Abortion, Death of parent, and Pregnancy
