OK so, I'm glad that the big threat was taken care of in this book. But there was a lot in this story I found lacking. Nothing to do with Michael. He was very real and relatable through out the whole story. He wasn't perfect and didn't take raising 3 teenagers like it was nothing. He struggled and fought and was angry. The custody battle, fight with police, everything made him much more relatable. He is one of my favorite characters. I'm disappointed in the way Hannah acted. She was just a petulant child and was so immature throughout the story. I was not rooting for them to be together. She had so many issues and Michael deserves better. I'm not sure I really liked the ending. It felt very unfinished. And ny heart broke for Hunter. I really can't even begin to say how sad his death made me.  I wish there would have been a "few months later" epilogue. I think that would have helped wrap up the series better. Overall, still a good story and the elemental storyline was done perfectly
