I think my exploration into graphic novels (at least the less indie superhero side) is officially over. A friend at work gave me a couple in order to try and get me hooked, insisting that comics had come a long way and were now made for adults. He either made bad exemplary selections, or he's just wrong. This was stupid, and while not aimed at kids, was definitley aimed at immature young adult males who don't want to flex their brain.
