This book is amazing. The story is compelling, finished it off in more or less 4 days, neglecting work, college and girlfriend, in a rush to read the story of Arlen and Leesha; not a great fan of Rojen but can see its value in the story. And not 2 seconds after i finished the book started The Desert Spear in order to continue the story.
Love that the three main characters are each of one to the trinity of professions or the travelerers of the world, Messanger, Junglear and Herb Gathererer, it gives a very nice point of view to the life in those conditions no matter what path in life you choose.
I would have liked a more detailed description of the wards system, but as it is, is pretty good and plays it's part in the history without overshadowing it.
Overall, i highly recommend this book to any fantasy lover, is well worth it.
