A Night Without Armor by Jewel

3.0

When I first started writing poetry, back in my age-of-16 angst, I saw this book advertised and, after being a relative fan of her music, asked my parents to pretty please buy it for Christmas. I like this book - its not groundbreaking but its timidly real. Its naive enough to ponder on and, at the time, I liked it so much that I can see remnants of trying to steal her style in my own early writings. Its easy to read, it covers all the usual love, loneliness and sexual blossoming, and I think everyone would find at least ONE thing to appreciate or relate to.
