Really enjoyed the first half, lost steam for me farther from the mystery. Ending was good but major grip of

didn’t think the first twist made sense at all felt like it was for sake of shock and to set up the character development for the last decision to save rocky. The book isn’t character driven at all which works well so that whole arc felt unnecessary and outside scope of what book was doing well
