I am already so mad at myself that I thought it was a good idea to start this duet before book 2 is out. However, I am also so grateful to the author for allowing me the chance to get an ARC for this story and experience these characters.
Sly and Vinnie are fantastic. The chemistry is palpable and everything I was hoping for when I first saw the story’s description. This story is a modern day Romeo and Juliet with some powerful family dynamics to go with it and I couldn’t get enough! Add to that, the spice scenes being what they were (hello pleasure dom Sly) was enough to make me keep reading.
If you like forbidden romance and secret relationships, this book is for you. Provided, of course, that you can wait patiently for the next book in the duet.
