i had a real sci-fi streak in middle school. i loved this book, it was so intense and scarry. the movie sucked! i was dissapointed, cuz jurassic park was so good i thought if they did anything similar congo would be a great movie, but the apes in the movie were not scary at all! and reading the book i was so fucking freaked out, than again i was in like 6th grade
