A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

5.0

Okay so I just wanted to start off by saying that I’ve seen this book on bookstagram and I’ve seen mixed reviews for it on goodreads, but I actually really enjoyed the book.

I think the characters and relationships between them were well built. I especially liked Ravi Singh, his great sense of humour and determination. I also really liked the main Character Pip because of how strong she is, her determination, her compassion and her intelligence.

There was also a shocking plot twist, I was not expecting that outcome. Another great edition to the novel was the production logs, interviews and diagrams. They really made the book look great, seem more realistic and feel even more like a murder mystery.

My only very slight problem was at the start it was a bit slow going as there were mainly just interviews rather than actual action. As the book got going however, there was much more action.

I would recommend to anyone who likes murder mystery/crime novels. I found the book kept me hooked, when I was near the end I couldn’t put it down. I’m looking forward to reading the next book, Good Girl Bad Blood.
