Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch

5.0

First and foremost in this review
It made me homesick
Ok I'm not originally from London...but Manchester UK
The writing(voice) felt so like being back in England it gave me shivers. The prose is intertwined with words and slang and sayings only a person from the UK would find humorous and so laugh out loud.
I was sometimes confused with the chapters jumping to something unrelated to the plot
This came down to flowus interruptus.
I'm not a big reviewer....I don't have the patience or the word power(blame my 2nd year English teacher)
To me writing a review is in the 'no win scenario' category..in comparison to Carol or Anne...lol
