Truly a ride from start to finish. I love Klune's unorthodox writing style, it's just so easy on the eyes and reads away nicely. Klune's also very good at writing (flawed) characters, I love Gordo and most of our main good guys to be honest.
My main gripe is really that the villains aren't as well-written as the main characters. They're just kind of flat and evil when comparing the two. I'm not saying they're downright poorly written or anything, but when we have other characters with such nuance it feels a bit weak to have these rather simple villain characters.
