Blow Me Away by Christina Hovland

4.0

Many romance writers take on the trope of the "fake romance," but this is the first time that I've ever read a romantic comedy involving a "fake break up" by two people who've never even dated. Like the twist on the fake romance trope, Blow Me Away by Christina Hovland succeeds at giving the reader the unexpected--and I liked it.

The one thing that Jase Dvornakov doesn't count on when telling his family that's he's broken up with Heather Reese is that his loving and more than slightly eccentric Babushka will hit Heather's cookie van and total it, throwing the "broken-up" couple together.
