A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles

5.0

This book was delightful, and I am not sure why I haven’t been able to write a review for it... Maybe because I don’t want it to be over. The storytelling is masterful, rekindling my love for Tchaikovsky and carrying me through the depths of winter like I was sitting by the fire in a high backed chair with Count Alexander Ilyich Rostov. A friend described the writing in this book like chocolate, and I agree. This book is decadent, and one I am already looking back nostalgically on.
