The cover and the description drew me in but unfortunately this story wasn't all I hoped for. This is a story that relies on the strength of its characters but it failed to develop them beyond hints at vague tragic back stories paired with an underdeveloped villain. This accumulated in a rushed ending and it could probably benefited from being a longer story.
