This was a thrilling and fast paced dark romance of escaping both a literal prison as well as a domestic one. I found the writing style to be very sophisticated, which you don’t typically see in this genre; smut is usually just for fun and not categorically “mature”. Some parts of the story felt like a full 5⭐️ read, while others felt like a 3, with a lack of character trait consistency and some questionable logistics, so I settled in the middle!
