Munich by Robert Harris

3.0

Definitely relevant with current events. A fictional look at the Munich Agreement where Chamberlain acceded to Hitler’s demands in order to gain a few more months of peace by offering the Sudentenland as a pawn to allay Hitler’s aggression. Chamberlain allowed Hitler to seize this Czech area in the hopes another World War wouldn’t start. We all know how that worked out. But an entertaining read regardless.
